[CUCBC Captains] Lent Bumps Captains' Meeting

Hi all

 

The Getting-On Race for the Lent Bumps 2012 will take place on Friday 24th
February.

 

The start order and full details are available at www.cucbc.org/lents/gor 

 

The first 20 men's crews will marshal at 13:45 at the Railway Bridge in
starting order (with the first crew furthest downstream, at the Bridge. The
remaining men's crews will marshal at 13:45 at Chesterton in starting order
(with crew number 21 furthest downstream, opposite the P&E). When assembled,
they will then row down to Baitsbite (the start) under the instruction of
the marshals. All men's crews will then race at the same time, one after the
other.

 

The first 20 women's crews will marshal at 14:30 at the Railway Bridge in
starting order (with the first crew furthest upstream, by the Little Bridge.
The remaining women's crews will marshal at 14:30 at Chesterton in starting
order (with crew number 21 furthest downstream, opposite the P&E). Once the
men's race has finished, the women's crews will row down to the start and
race as the men's crews did.

 

Captains: Please ensure this information is passed on to all competing crews
within your club. Please can crews ensure they are on time!
