Notes from the Umpires

   - The CUCBC committees thank all the competitors, bank parties, coaches
   and umpires for another set of successful bumping races, with particular
   thanks to all those who have volunteered time to make bumps happen.
   - We would like to retract the fine given to Selwyn W1 for foul language
   on the second day of bumps and apologise for inconvenience caused.
   - Particular congratulations to Caius M1 for retaining headship and
   Jesus W1 for gaining headship.
   - A reminder that all crews must be sensible, keep control of their
   boat and must adhere to normal navigation rules when rowing home
   - The CUCBC committees look forward to Lent Bumps 2024

   - Churchill - Failure to provide a marshal (first offence) - £15
   - Churchill W2 - Extremely dangerous coxing - £100 and Cox disqualified
   from future bumping races
   - Churchill W3 - Ignoring umpire’s instructions - £30
