Hi Everyone,

Following the success of Rebecca Dowbiggin’s talk last term, I’m very
pleased to announce that another talk is lined up, with the details below:

I’m sorting out a venue at the moment, and it is most likely to be at
Goldie.

Yours,

Mark

Dear coxes, Coxultancy has two events this term in Cambridge that we hope
you will be interested in - a clinic and a group coaching service. Please
read on...

**Pulling Your Weight, Part 2: a Coxultancy Clinic**

Venue tbc, Tuesday 12 May, 8.30pm, £7pp. Suitable for M1/W1 coxes or those
with a year's experience. (But all are welcome!)

Following on from the Coxultancy Clinic of last term, Pulling Your Weight,
Part 2 aims to help the more experienced coxes on the Cam add value to their
crews in training and racing. All topics covered will be accompanied by
video or audio recordings and analysis, and will include:

**Coaching your crew in training

**Structuring outings without a coach

**Calling races effectively

**Bumps

**How to accelerate your progress

The clinic will start on time and will last about an hour. The clinic will
be presented by Rebecca Dowbiggin.

Please confirm your attendance by e-mailing rebecca at coxultancy.com. We hope
to see you there!

In addition, Rebecca will be offering group coaching for colleges this term:

**Coxultancy Group Coaching**

Coxes play a huge part in crews' performance in both training and racing!
This service aims to help coxes play that part to the full. Particularly
suitable for colleges with coxes who have ambitions to trial for the
university in 09-10. **As used by 1st and 3rd in Lent term 2009!**

The service consists of:

- Each cox records their coxing, either in training or racing

- Rebecca listens to the recordings and prepares a detailed feedback sheet
for each cox, including practical ways to improve

- Rebecca and coxes meet up for a 90-minute coaching session, which includes
going through the recordings together, discussing the feedback, and
listening to other cox's recordings to understand what to aim for!

Maximum of 4 coxes, £50. Please e-mail rebecca at coxultancy.com with any
inquiries.

Thanks,

Rebecca
