[CUCBC Captains] Uni Fours - Thursday Results, Notes and Fines from Umpires

Dear all,

This concludes Uni IVs 2023. A huge thanks to everyone who coxed, rowed, coached, supported, photographed and most importantly marshalled.
The results are now finalised and attached.
Congratulations to our winning crews:

Medals are on order and I will be in touch in a few weeks/months when they arrive.

Notes and Fines:
A number of clubs will be receiving fines for loud swearing whilst racing or after the finish. CUCBC does not tolerate foul and abusive language under any circumstance, races included.
Additionally, the towpath is a public footpath, and forcing people off it by being so unaware of oncoming traffic through dangerous or reckless cycling is totally unacceptable. Several bank parties were observed handheld filming this afternoon, which is strictly prohibited in Bumps.
May this serve as a first and final warning and not set the tone for Bumps campaigns ahead.
