[CUCBC Captains] Bike thefts

Dear Captains,

Two policemen came down to LMBC boathouse this morning. There has been an increase in bike thefts over the past few weeks. Reports of odd looking people going into boathouses and stealing unlocked bikes. They said the only way this is going to stop if they find the culprits. They are going to do an undercover operation in plainclothes to try and catch them. 

Two thing we can do

Tell your club, encourage bike security, even inside the boat bays.

Report any suspicious looking behaviour. Ring 101
