Dear Captains,

Thank you to everyone who participated in Newnham Shortcourse on Saturday. 
We hope that you all enjoyed the event, despite the extra push needed to 
get down the reach.

The remainder of this email will explain our decision regarding refunds.

All M3s, M4s, W2s, W3s and W4s who entered and did not scratch prior to 
race day will be refunded £23, regardless of whether they paid the standard 
£37 or late £42 entry fee. This value has been calculated to ensure that 
all costs incurred by NCBC to hold the event have been covered. The boats 
that will receive a £37 refund are listed below:

Caius M3, M4 & W2
Christ's W2
Churchill M3
Clare M3
Downing W2
Emmanuel M3, W2 and W3
First & Third M3 & W3
Fitzwilliam M3
Girton M3 & W2
Hughes Hall/Lucy Cav W2
Jesus M4 & W3
King's M3
Magdalene M3 & W2
Pembroke M3, M4 & W2
Queens' M3
Selwyn M3
Sidney Sussex W2

We allowed all M1s, W1s and M2s to race, therefore no self-scratched crews 
that fall into these categories will be refunded. The only exceptions are 
the three M2s that were due to race in division 1. We appreciate that you 
may have been unable to change your division time at the late notice 
provided, and will therefore provide a goodwill partial refund of £13. The 
boats that fall into this category are as follows:

Christ's M2
Clare Hall M2
Queens' M2

If you feel that your boat has been missed from the above lists, please do 
not hesitate to contact me.

Unless I hear otherwise, cheques will be made out to the college boat club. 
Please let me know asap if they should be written to an alternative payee.
