[CUCBC Captains] University of Worcester Head of the Severn 2012

Hello!

Please forgive the intrusion to your mailing list, but I wanted to draw your
attention to a race being held in February that might be of interest to you!

The University of Worcester Rowing Club (UWRC) will be running our Head of
the Severn race again on 5 February 2012. It is split into three divisions
with a wide range of categories. The long course (6km downstream) is perfect
for crews preparing for the tideway eights heads, being of a very similar
duration and with high levels of competition.

Our race is a little unusual in that we run under both BUCS and British
Rowing rules, meaning that those who are not BR members are still able to
compete as long as they are full members of their university/college clubs. 

Our middle division is aimed exclusively for less experienced rowers who
still want great racing - BR novice and BUCS beginners (4.5km downstream).
