Dear LBCs and Captains,
Applications are now open for this year's Queens' Ergs, sponsored by UBS.
I'm sure most of you have taken part in the annual curtain
raiser to the novice season! For those who haven't Queens' Ergs
is the second largest indoor rowing event in the UK, last year
over 1200 novice rowers from all over Cambridge took part. The
format is a 8x500m relay race on a concept II erg. As usual the
competition will be taking place in the Fitzpatrick Hall at
Queens', and there will be a Queens' Ergs t shirt for every
competitor.
Please visit www.qcbc.net and follow the erg comp link off the
homepage or go directly to www.qjcr.org.uk/qergs in order to
register your crews. Please pay for all your colleges entries
with one cheque placed in Craig Sturrock pigeon hole (C.Sturrock,
Queens' Porters Lodge, Silver Street). Online entries will
strictly close on 1st November.
