[CUCBC Captains] Clare Novices' Regatta 2009

Dear Captains,

This email is to notify you about Clare Novices' Regatta 2009, which will be 
taking place on 26th, 27th and 28th November, with the compulsory coxes 
meeting on Sunday 22nd November at 9:30pm, in the Great Hall at Clare Old 
Court (the venue is unfortunately currently only provisional and may be 
amended).

The rules and organisation for 2009 has changed only slightly: the new rules 
document is available on our website at http://www.clareboatclub.org.uk/cnr 

I draw your attention to the following:
1) This year, the entry fee for CNR has been raised to £45 per crew

2) A new rule makes crews causing undue disturbance on saturday morning liable 
to disqualification.

3) Entries this year are by the ONLINE SYSTEM ONLY - entries will open on 1st 
November, and close on the 14th November. Each captain will receive an 
individual email with their club's password for this year shortly. If you have 
any problems please don't hesitate to contact me, by email or mobile phone

Finally,  a couple of things to note:

1)The timetable for racing currently on Clare Boat Club website is still 
provisional. It is possible division times may change, especially on Saturday. 
This will be announced both online and in the coxes' meeting.

2) Based on the number of entries from last year, there is a danger the 
regatta will be heavily oversubscribed this year. Allocations will be made in 
as fair a way as possible, and to a large extent will be first come first 
served; though every attempt will be made to ensure that no college is 
completely left out of CNR if they wish to participate. Please remember your 
entry is not accepted until you have sent payment.
