Hi all,

Ron Davies was a weights coach of CUW and long term coach of Clare boats. It
is his funeral on Thurs and a member of the town clubs has asked colleges to
put flags at 1/2 mast as respect to him. They have spoken to his wife and
she feels he would have been very touched by this gesture - Clare are
wearing black armbands and their flag will be 1/2.

He rowed in 217 bumping races, went up 60 times, down 56 places and rowed
over 101 times.
