Dear College Captains,

During Michaelmas term CUWBC borrowed a Swift VIII to conduct our
training in and also compete in the Fairbairns Cup and our own Trial
VIIIs races. The boat we borrowed was very successful and was used by
the winning crew in the Fairbairns cup. It is a very good boat, bow
rigged and Swift have kindly giving the Cambridge colleges the
opportunity to trial the boat over the coming term. It is a great
opportunity to try out the Swift make if your college is thinking of
buying a new boat and getting a feel for all the make has to offer.

I include in this email the attachment from Swift of the specification
of the boat, please do not hesitate to contact Dominic Vincent from
Swift (whose details can be found on the attachment) if you are
interested in the trailling the boat.

Kind regards,

Izzi
