There are numerous obstructions in the river this morning. There are apparently two large black bins filled with glass (and therefore very heavy & solid!) on the Long Reach, just downstream of the new cycle bridge (near to the little wooden bridge on Ditton Meadows), as well as a portaloo(!) near to the A14 (motorway) bridge.<br />

Please make any crews going out today aware, as the bins in particular are apparently very difficult to see and definitely not something you want to hit!<br />

Hopefully these obstructions will be cleared later today.<br />
