<h3>Notes from the Umpires</h3>

<ul>

<li>Thank you to everyone for their punctuality and patience with the weather conditions - it made it possible to run everything on time, and gave the flexibility needed to run the races in difficult conditions.</li>

<li>Coxes should concede when they first feel contact, or when contact is inevitable; the bows of the boat behind should not be going under 7's rigger before concession. Before Grassy, sustained bowball level with the cox for three or more strokes should warrant immediate concession.</li>

</ul>

<h3>Fines</h3>

<ul>

<li>Downing W1 - Late concession - £30</li>

<li>Homerton M1 - Public urination - £85</li>

<li>Homerton W2 - Illegal practice start - £20</li>

<li>Lucy Cavendish W1 - Failure to row on upon being bumped - £20</li>

<li>Pembroke M2 - Bank party impeding umpire - Warning</li>

<li>Robinson M1 - Dropped bung, slight advantage, not affecting race outcome (second offence) - £100</li>

<li>Selwyn W1 - Late to hold it up, leading to failure to clear - £50</li>

<li>Sidney Sussex M1 - Dropped bung, no advantage - £15</li>
