font-family:Arial'>Firstly, concerning pushing off times. A few novice
crews this morning pushed off early and later claimed that they thought it was
okay since other novice crews had pushed off. This is completely
wrong. The time which you can push off is determined by the lighting down
times and the relevant rules governing novice boating. If you push off early,
regardless of whether other boats pushed off in front of you, then your club
will be fined. So, check your watch before getting your rowers to push
off.</span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:Arial'> </span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:Arial'>Secondly, there was a “bit of a mare” at the
bottom of the reach this morning. Problems stemmed largely from boats
being stagnant, so please make sure that you:</span></font></p>
