enable you to make it back to the boathouses on time. Also, make sure
that you have lights in the periods close to lighting up and lighting down
– check the CUCBC handbook if you are unsure.</span></font></p>

allowed upstream of Chesterton. Not only is this in place to reduce the
wash on house boats, but there are also likely to be slow moving/stationary
boats in this zone as well as novices/tubs. As coxes, it is your job to
ensure that your crew is not steaming upstream in this part of the river, not
the stroke or coach.</span></font></p>
