[CUCBC Coxes] Powered Vessels & Unusual navigation

Dear all,

We’ve been asked to pass on a message that powered vessels are having to take some unusual lines around some of the corners (and in particular between Green Dragon footbridge and the P&E, and around Ditton corner up to the Plough). This is due to the river silting up and as a result they are unable to follow normal navigation safely, so they may be much farther in to the middle of the river than you might expect. The Conservators have been made aware of the issue, but as yet have not been able to tackle it.

Please ensure coxes and steerspeople are aware and can react accordingly to avoid any undue angst.
