Both sqauds are incredibly friendly and welcoming and by joining you will get accesss to indvidual coxing feedback from our very experienced coxes and coaches. Both squads will be competing at a variety of events both on and off cam, so If you want to get some racing experience in races like HORR, WeHORR, Met regatta, Marlow regatta, Henley we can provide you with that opportunity! The rules for college rowers training with town clubs don't apply to coxes, and our weekend sessions will never clash with college sessions so could be a really great opportunity to get some experience racing on and off Cam. Please circulate to your members to avoid going too far downstream on Sunday, to take care not to ingest any river water, and to shower thoroughly immediately after any outing. The authorities should be on the case; there may be a river closure downstream of the problem. We'll keep you updated as more information comes to light. Please note the advice to ensure that crews progressing downstream of the Reach wash thoroughly after outings - particularly hands and especially before eating anything. Crew members should cover any scratches/ blisters/ relevant injuries with a waterproof covering and ensure they are drinking from clean (otherwise covered) surfaces on water bottles.
