From paw35 at cam.ac.uk Thu Jul 14 08:35:50 2011 From: paw35 at cam.ac.uk (Penny Wright) Date: 14 Jul 2011 09:35:50 +0100 Subject: [CUCBC Coxes] Town Bumps - cox needed Message-ID: Dear All We are in need of a cox for a Cantabs mens crew for Town Bumps next week (19th to 22nd July) as the cox that we had lined up is unable to do it. They are a relatively novice crew, although 5 of them did row in Bumps last year, so they have some experience. Most of them belong to the Addenbrooke's water polo team. They are in division 4 which goes off at 6.05 so would require meeting up at about 5pm. Please let me know if you can help out. Many thanks Penny From masters at robroyboatclub.org.uk Thu Jul 14 14:17:22 2011 From: masters at robroyboatclub.org.uk (Kim Rutter) Date: Thu, 14 Jul 2011 15:17:22 +0100 Subject: [CUCBC Coxes] Coxing the Town Bumps next week Message-ID: Hello Anyone fancy a drive in Men's div2 next week? Message-ID: <381C1932302542DA83D5CC0CDA5FD9CF@OfficePC> Will you be remaining in Cambridge having graduated and would like to continue to cox? Is your final year approaching and you think you might prefer a less intense, more sociable coxing schedule? If so, Chesterton RC is looking for regular coxes. We're a small, sociable town club and contest most local events and have selective adventures off-Cam for the Tideway, and various regattas in the south east. We have healthy squads of both men and women with a wide age group of members. We don't have a club house but we are well known faces in a number of local hostelries, where we generally retreat to after outings. We get serious for the bumps, where I like to think we punch above our weight. Our boats are racked at Peterhouse and Queens. If you think you might be interested in regular town club coxing, would like to know more about our club - or maybe give us try - please call or email me and I'd be happy to tell you more.
