Christ's is going to Aiguebelette lake in France this coming week, but unfortunately we have found ourselves 1 cox short. We were wondering if any coxes (or if anyone knows of any coxes who) would be interested in coming on the camp with us. We are taking two Men's VIIIs, two Women's VIIIs and some top coaches including a cox coach - it is lining up to be a pretty awesome week with plenty of social time as well as rowing time. We are leaving on 5th January (Wednesday) and returning on 12th January (Wednesday). All travel, accommodation and food is included. We're all quite nice people really :) If anyone is interested (or knows of anyone who would be interested) or if you would like more information please contact me by email or by calling me on 07921668956. One may enter to turn and to pass though, but stopping for extended periods is prohibited. There have been numerous recent examples of crews spinning and proceeding to do exercises (whether stationary or slow moving (such at front-stops tapping)), holding up morning traffic queues in both directions. If such exercises are necessary to your outing, please row on until you are well clear of the spinning zone before doing them. In a time when everyone is eager to get back to training, spending half of an outing waiting doesn't help anyone. Please be considerate when spinning, and gently remind your coaches of the rule if you are asked to perform exercises in a prohibited area, Mat. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... All other crews may boat from 10 minutes after lighting down. When warming up in the mornings (and any other times traffic density is high), please ensure you are rowing no less than half crew at half slide. Please keep moving on when it is safe to do so, so as not to cause a hold-up of traffic behind you. This will help congestion in the mornings and at busy times. Rowers and coxes are reminded that there is to be no coaching from the bank and only essential coxing calls upstream of the Railway Bridge before 07:30. Inexperienced crews who are unable to make it to the Railway Bridge without coaching should not boat before 07:30.
