[CUCBC Coxes] URGENT - Spinning point at the lock temporarily altered

Hi Everyone,

Under the high stream conditions, spinning your VIII isn't going to be as
easy as normal and will require much more distance to complete the
manoeuvre.

Until Further notice:

Boats are to proceed with EXTREME caution and slowly around the final corner
before the lock.

As soon as you are on the straight, start spinning if it is clear, otherwise
hold position using your rowers.

Immediately on completing your spin, move out of the spinning area.

Absolutely no stopping (unless for safety) before you have gone upstream of
the final corner. If you are stopping for a coaching chat, please pull
right in to the bank between the motorway bridge and the final corner before
the lock.

Yours,

Mark Stringer
