[CUCBC Coxes] Wind forecast

The forecast for the next few days is for reasonably strong winds,
similar to those seen last Sunday.  We will check the river and set a
flag if necessary, so please check the flag before boating (see
http://www.cucbc.org/handbook/flag for details and how to check on a
mobile phone).  You must however use your discretion when deciding
whether to boat (even on a green flag), especially with novice crews
and, even more so, novice coxes.  Any incidents caused by crews unable
to cope with the conditions will not be looked on lightly.  If you are
on the water and feel your crew cannot cope then spin and come back at
the earliest safe opportunity.
