[CUCBC Coxes] Common sense

Coxes - it's rant time.  On occasion, you are perfectly within your rights
to ignore the demands of your coach and crew and stay within the safety
limits.  Examples of such occasions are as follows:

- Crossover points.  They exist because it allows crews to race upstream
while maintaining the racing line on all corners.  If you fancy doing a
piece downstream, which everyone likes to do on occasion then please either
get your coach to FULLY check that it is clear, or just suck it up and lose
a couple of seconds by staying on the correct side.  I've had a few reports
of a particularly nasty incident where a College boat nearly carted it into
City M1 racing upstream around Ditton because aforementioned College crew
completely cut the corner.  Not cool.  If you're just paddling along, then
you really have no excuse to be cutting corners where there is no guarantee
that it is clear.

- The Reach.  Is a mighty fine place for doing pieces with minimal
cornering.  It is not the ideal place to sit in the middle of the river
(while being very misty so no-one can pass you) and do practice starts, one
stroke at a time, followed by much discussion of said stroke.  Either move
away to somewhere less busy at that moment in time, and certainly it's just
plain stupid to stay pretty much stationary in the middle of the river while
it's misty.

I know it's close to Bumps and everyone wants the best from their outings.
But that's no excuse to ignore basic courtesy and more importantly, actual
navigation rules.  Please don't be silly and cause a crash and send your
bowman to hospital.
