<p class="MsoNormal">Over the weekend a very large tree was blown down over the towpath which also blocked half the river. Inroads have been made to get it as far out of the way as possible today, however it will remain in the river till tomorrow.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Can you perhaps warn rowers to proceed with caution about 500 metres upstream of <span class="SpellE">Clayhithe</span>, the fallen tree is currently in the river along the bank opposite the towpath.</p>
