<html><head></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; "><div>Dear All,</div><div><br></div><div>As usual, this year's Clare Novices' Regatta will be held over three days starting on the Thursday of week 8, Full Michaelmas Term (25th - 27th November 2010). </div><div><br></div><div>Clubs are now invited to submit entries online at <a href="http://clareboatclub.org.uk/cnr">clareboatclub.org.uk/cnr</a>.</div><div><br></div><div>Log in is via Raven; the first individual to log on from each club can specify one other individual to also access that club's application. </div><div><br></div><div>Entries will close at midnight ending Tuesday, week 6 (16th November). </div><div><br></div><div>The entry fee is unchanged from 2009, at £45.00 per crew.</div><div><br></div><div>Fees can be paid via online banking, or cheque, made payable to "Clare Novices' Regatta" to arrive the Clare Boat Club pigeon hole, Clare College, Old Court by the entry deadline.</div><div><br></div><div>Late entries will only be accepted at the discretion of the Senior Umpire and will be charged an additional fee.</div><div><br></div><div>There are four events: Men's Cup, Women's Cup, Men's Plate, Women's Plate. Your top novice crew of each sex should be entered into the Cup competitions, and any further crews into the Plate. Colleges wishing to enter 4 crews in either sex should enter 2 in the Cup and 2 in the Plate. </div><div><br></div><div>Captains are reminded that participants must meet the eligibility criteria; namely, no rower may have rowed (or sculled) before 1st September 2010, and no cox may have steered a race before that date.</div><div><br></div><div>There will be a meeting for coaches and coxes on the Sunday of week 7 (21st November) at 21:30 in the Great Hall, Clare College Old Court. Safety and marshalling procedures will be explained and the draw and order of racing will be distributed.
