Subject: Champs Head 14 May - event already 1/3 full
> Race 1/3 fullI realise that the college boat crews have got lots going on but I wanted to get in touch because the Champs Eights Head on 14 May is already one third full. There is a limit on how many crews we can accommodate per division, and divisions are filled on a first come first served basis so if you want to enter and get your preferred division, please hurry.

> Entry formEntries can be made through this entries webform, and will close at 18.00 on Wednesday 10 May 2023 or when the divisions are full – whichever is sooner.

> Full details of the event are available on the Champs website.

> Great prep for BumpsThis is a short course head race (Plough to Pike and Eel) so is great prep for May Bumps.

> Categories are:
>  • College Men’s 8s: Mays Divisions M1, 2, 3, 4, 5 + GoR
>  • College Women’s 8s: Mays Divisions W1, 2, 3, 4, 5 + GoR
>  • CRA 8s: Championship, Club A, Club B, Novice, Masters, Junior
> Draw positions will be based on the starting order for this year's May Bumps.

> Divisions • Division 1: 12:00
>  • Division 2: 13:30
>  • Division 3: 15:00
>
> PrizesFor 2023 we again have prizes and special awards to make it another challenging and entertaining event, including:
>  • Tankards for category winners
>  • A Magnum of Champagne for breaking the current course records for Men’s and Women’s crews
>  • Awards for fastest Men’s and Women’s crews on the day – the John Stewart and the Helen Patterson trophies
>  • Champion Cox awards for judged best line around Ditton Corner
>  • Bottles of prosecco for best judged Men's and Women's start
>  • We will also be taking race photographs on the day which will be available free of charge to all crews following the event.

> PaymentFull details for payment is given on completion of your entry via the form linked above. Entries will be charged at £80/boat (£10/seat). Payment must be received before your race numbers are issued. No crews will be allowed to race without payment having been made.
