Dear all,
The results of yesterday's races are available here: www.cucbc.org/lents
*Notes from the Umpires*
- Thanks for a successful, and relatively smooth running of Bumps after
the two-year hiatus, especially to all volunteers who have given their time
to umpiring and marshalling. We hope this is the start of the recovery to a
normal, high standard of Bumps racing and we look forward to May Bumps
2022.
- Though the fines system is designed to ensure adherence to rules and
ensure safety and smooth running of Bumps, the CUCBC Captains', Executive
and Senior Committees have decided that any proceeds from fines accrued
during Lent Bumps 2022 will be donated to the charities and projects
identified by the University in relation to the current Ukraine Crisis.
- For those with experience in umpiring Bumps and keen to continue the
tradition of Lent and May Bumps, we invite you to apply to the Executive
Committee as Events Secretary. Please get in touch with the executive
committee for more information: http://www.cucbc.org/contact or email
committee at cucbc.org
