Notes from the Umpires
- Thank you to all of the Umpires, Bank Parties, Marshals, and Crews who
made Lent Bums 2019 possible - it takes hundreds of people volunteering a
lot of time to run Bumps safely and efficiently, and your efforts are
hugely appreciated.
Fines
-
All colleges with more than one crew in the same division – Numbers on
the bow and coxes backs next year so umpires can tell them apart
- Caius M2 – Dangerous cox/rower swap – £50
- Christ’ M2 M2 – Ignoring umpire instructions – £20
- Corpus – Late Marshal – £5
- CUCBC Chief Umpires – Holding half the umpires’ briefings this week in
the middle of a puddle – Provide wellies for all the umpires in the Lents
- Downing M2 – Foul and abusive language towards umpire – £25
- Downing M4 – Foul and abusive language – £25
- Emmanuel M2 – Excessive bank party (first offence) – £30
- Emmanuel M3 – Dangerous cox/rower swap – £50

sent.
