[CUCBC Contacts] Newnham Short Course [02.02.2019]

Dear Friends,

Newnham Short Course is back on the 2nd of February to bring you the joy of
racing and a perfect opportunity to practice the course for your Lent Bumps
campaign.

The race will be run over 2km from the Motorway Bridge to the Railway
Bridge and will be open to all Senior Eights and coxed Fours. Town clubs
and alumni crews welcome! Prizes will be awarded to the fastest boat in
following categories: College W1, M1, W2, M2, Women’s Lower Boats, Men’s
Lower Boats, Non-college Fastest Women and Fastest Men, for both VIIIs and
IV+s. Prizes will not be awarded for categories that have less than three
entries. More categories may be added provided they have more than three
entries as well!

The price for entering is £7 per seat (excluding the cox), which makes it
£56 per VIII and £28 per IV+. Division times this year are: D1) 11:00, D2)
12:05, D3) 13:10, D4) 14:15, D5) 15:20.
