Notes from the Umpires:
Bank Parties are strictly limited to 4
Crews are expected to row continuously down to the start when there are no practice starts. Crews should not sit stationary for extended periods of time waiting for "a gap” to open and then row off winding it up immediately. The same goes at the Railway Bridge; a small queue is not an excuse to do an illegal start - you will only make the queue worse!
Coxes are reminded that they are responsible for observing crews ahead, including looking out for obstructions, and that they must not row into stationary boats at race pace. Coxes failing to conduct their crews in a safe manner may be removed from Bumps for the remainder of the week for particularly serious infractions
