Outlook: The river is very high, and conditions do not appear to be getting any better. With further rain forecast overnight, it is likely that river levels will continue to rise.

The river is therefore closed to all crews, including University crews. The situation will be reviewed frequently over the weekend and updates posted to the Captains' list as and when things change.
