Dear Boat Captains and Rowers,
Feel like a breath of fresh spring air? After a long winter of head
races and Lent Bumps, now is the time to think about races after Easter
to look forward to and stay in shape for!
The first one is organised by us, the St Radegund Boat Club, and we do
things a bit differently: Our mile long course is divided into
furlongs, which makes breaking up your piece that bit more
interesting. We also have the friendliest marshals, the tastiest
BBQ, and, best of all and almost too good to be true: our divisions
usually start on time!
And don't forget the post-race revelry, with a bar, barbecue and other
refreshments, as well as the prize-giving. Trophies will be awarded to
the fastest men's and women's crews, with engraved pots awarded to the
winners of every category with three or more entries.
So, gear yourselves up for a strong summer season, start the term
properly, and get in an early advantage by training for the Radegund
Mile.
