[CUCBC Contacts] Wooden scull found floating upside down near Riverside

This morning there was a wooden single scull floating upside down near the new 
Riverside (Tesco) footbridge. The owner of a nearby houseboat said there were 
some kids playing around in it late last night and they abandoned it after it 
capsized. There was a large tear in the stern canvas, so the stern section had 
filled with water, but it otherwise appeared undamaged. There was no boat 
identification number that I could see.
With the help of a Wolfson College coach, I towed it to the Churchill 
boathouse hard and put it on the outside rack on the grass there, together 
with the wooden oars (green macons with a yellow stripe and old-style leather 
sleeves) that had been in the gates. If you have recently lost a wooden single 
that matches this description, you now know where to look for it.
