[CUCBC Contacts] Umpiring the Small Boats Regatta 2010

Greetings fellow boaties!

Is revision boring you already? Are you pining for some time in the fresh air 
after a winter spent cooped up in the lab or library? Do you desperately need 
to come up with "a situation in which you used your specialist knowledge to 
resolve a problem"? Would you like something more to add to your manifesto for 
the heavily-contested (ahem) elections for the CUxBC Secretary positions? Or 
do you just like cycling up and down the river wearing a yellow bib and 
shouting at people? If any of these apply then you definitely want to help out 
with umpiring the CUCBC Small Boats Regatta. 

The regatta will run from Monday 19th April until Wednesday 21st April. 
Umpires and marshals will be needed for the following tasks:
* Start judges
* Finish judges
* cycle umpires to follow each race
* marshals to ensure the safe and efficient marshalling of crews

If you want to help out, please contact me at culrc at cucbc.org, letting me know 
what times on the 19th-21st you are available.
No previous experience is necessary, but let me know if you do have any.
I'm afraid I can't offer you a free meal for this one, but I'll do my best to 
rustle up some cake and other goodies.
