A friend of mine who was at Oxford and I are planning to row from London to
Oxford for charity, and are in the process of searching for a suitable boat.
Something like an old training tub would be ideal as it is more practical
than a double skiff and has more capacity. If any boat clubs have an old tub
they no longer need and would be willing to sell for a reasonable price or
even donate, please let me know on 07910 543398 or ojbeardon at hotmail.com. I
am able to do light work on a boat as long as it isn’t a complete wreck!
