The CULRC is looking for an Hon Sec for next year. The deadline for
nominations is midnight on Tuesday the 5th of May, and if an election is
required then it will take place on Sunday the 10th of May. Candidates must
be a member of a college boat club and in statu pupillari for the next
academic year. Nominations should be sent to me - candidates must be
nominated and seconded by eligible CULRC members - if you don't know anyone
that can nominate you then please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.
If you are thinking about running then you are strongly encouraged to get in
contact with myself (grb37), Alistair Chappelle (anc38), our next president,
or Christopher Kerr (cjk34), our outgoing Hon Sec, to discuss the position
and ask us any questions that you might have.

A quick description of what the job entails from Chris:

Within the CULRC, the hon sec's primary function is like a Junior Treasurer:
ordering rowing kit etc. and collecting payment from the squad. Your duties
for the CUCBC are more varied but can be summarised as keeping the peace on
the river (setting the flag, dealing with complaints, issuing fines etc.)
and helping to run CUCBC events (umpiring, marshalling, and organising the
logistics).

We look forward to hearing from you

George Blessley
