As you can see from the river closure email below yours the river re-opens at 1230 anyway....

The Hornets BC will be going out in a quad at 4.30 from Queens' boathouse 
and so arriving around the Penny Ferry at around 4.45 where I would imagine 
marshals will be.
If there is not a race in progress we would like to proceed down stream on 
the correct side of the river until we get to The Plough where again I 
would expect a marshal to decide when we can proceed.
I hope this request will be acceptable.
