As part of this change, each of the mailing lists will become a Google Group, though in practice this will make very little difference to the day to day workings of the lists. You will still receive messages to your email inbox, and you will still be able to send messages via email to the lists.</div><div><br></div><div>The only significant change will be if you wish to send a message out to the lists. Whereas in the past you would send a message to the lists by emailing <list name>@lists.cucbc.org, you will now send the email to <list name>@cucbc.org (without the ‘lists). i.e.:</div><div><br></div><div><a href="mailto:captains@lists.cucbc.org">captains@lists.cucbc.org</a> becomes <a href="mailto:captains@cucbc.org">captains@cucbc.org</a></div><div><a href="mailto:contacts@lists.cucbc.org">contacts@lists.cucbc.org</a> becomes <a href="mailto:contacts@cucbc.org">contacts@cucbc.org</a></div><div><a href="mailto:coxes@lisrs.cucbc.org">coxes@lists.cucbc.org</a> becomes <a href="mailto:coxes@cucbc.org">coxes@cucbc.org</a></div><div><a href="mailto:boatmen@lists.cucbc.org">boatmen@lists.cucbc.org</a> becomes <a href="mailto:boatmen@cucbc.org">boatmen@cucbc.org</a></div><div><a href="mailto:safety@lists.cucbc.org">safety@lists.cucbc.org</a> becomes <a href="mailto:safety@cucbc.org">safety@cucbc.org</a></div><div><br></div><div>In the short term, the old list addresses will still work, but please do move to using the new addresses since we cannot guarantee how long they will keep working for as we streamline our web services.</div><div><br></div><div>You may receive one or more emails in the coming days informing you that you have been either subscribed or unsubscribed from the new and old versions of the lists.
