British Rowing have engaged independent consultants to consult and research options to re-establish the “Senior Championships” for the British Rowing Board to consider in September. As part of this, they are keen to hear the views of all rowing stakeholders, including those not formally part of British Rowing. Please see https://www.britishrowing.org/2023/06/consultation-on-british-rowing-senior-championships-how-to-get-involved/ for some details on this (though the webinar has been and gone, I’m afraid).<br />

Many of you are perhaps more interested in BUCS than the Senior Championships, but the survey includes questions about the potential timing of Senior Champs (including avoiding clashes with e.g. BUCS, HWR, HRR etc.), as well as whether or not an “Academic” level of competition should be included. If you have thoughts that you’d like to share, the survey can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/BRSeniorChamps (and includes a link to the recording of the webinar). It took me about 10 minutes to complete.<br />
