Dear Captains,

I would be grateful if you could forward this
email to any of your boat club members who might be interested in the
opportunity below.

Sparks Rowing,
a US company that designs rowing camps for secondary school students’ performance and personal growth, are holding a camp for coxes and rowers
on the Tideway from 4-17th July. The camp attendees are predominantly US
high school students aged 16-17. Sparks are seeking current University
students to join the camp in a fellowship capacity.

The role of
the fellow is to train and race alongside the high school students and
to act as role models and provide leadership and guidance to them, and
it is a great chance to work with some like minded people and to develop
your own leadership skills.

There is no charge for attending the
camp as a fellow, but you will need to find your own accommodation
in/near Putney and you will need to be a member of British Rowing. In
return you will get; two weeks of training and top level coaching, entry
to Kingston and Molesey regattas, racing kit, lunch each day and the
chance to develop your own skills in rowing and leadership.

Full details can be found here:

https://sparksrowing.com/rowing-camps/camps/sparks-rowing-fellowship

There
is an admissions process for the position, details of which are given
on the link. The FAQ at the bottom of the page explains how to get in
touch with Sparks if you have questions about the position.

Kind regards,

Nick

---
