The Tideway clubs are appealing for support to oppose plans from Fulham FC to build a pier into the river and introduce ferry services which would significantly hinder or completely halt rowing on some of the Championship course.<br />

First it was a real pleasure to row with and see you all on Sunday. Your always welcome to visit us at Cygnet/BBL.<br />

The tideway clubs really need your help. Fulham football club are putting in an application to build an 85m pier for Thames clippers.<br />

This will devastate the rowing and sailing clubs. It will also block the championship course and therefore mean HORR, WEHORR and the Boat Race will all change. Also, Thames Clippers above Putney Pier will stop all small boat rowing due to their wash.<br />

All tideway clubs are unanimous on this.<br />
