<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;" class="">Hi all,<div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I hope you’re doing well during lockdown 2 and not missing the river <i class="">too</i> much. I realise it’ll be after the end of term and after many of you will probably have left Cambridge, but just an FYI for any people who’ll be staying and wishing to make use of the river (it looks like BR advice will basically revert to what it was before the second lockdown if Cambridge remains in the lowest tier).</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">On weekdays from Monday 7th December to Wednesday 16th December, there will be a navigation restriction of approx. half the width of the river at the Railway Bridge from 08:00 to 18:00 each day. This is to install protective fenders around the new jetty. Outside of these times (i.e. early mornings, evenings, and the weekend of the 12th/13th), the pontoon used for the works will be moored at the P&E, leaving enough room for two eights to pass each other. The whole river may be briefly obstructed whilst the pontoon is moved to and from the Railway Bridge each morning/evening.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Hopefully this will minimise disruption to anyone wishing to use the river during this time, whilst allowing the works to be completed before the new year.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Best wishes,</div><div class="">Conor</div></body></html>
