Please see the message below from Bill Key of the CRA, regarding a temporary obstruction at the new CRA boathouse (beside the Combined Churchill, King's, Selwyn, Leys boathouse).<br />

<br />

CUCBC do no propose to introduce any special restrictions during this obstruction, but we ask Captains in particular to ensure all coxes are aware and take extra care in this area.<br />

<br />

The obstruction will be in place from Monday 30th January to Wednesday 1st February, and could reach up to 2.5m out from the bank.<br />

<p><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:black">Notice is hereby given that a temporary structure (Portadam) will be constructed in the river by the new CRA Boathouse at Logan's Way from Monday 30th January to Wednesday 1st February 2017.<u></u><u></u></span></p>

<p><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:black">The Portadam will be erected on the 30th January, it is likely that this will be in place overnight in the river in which case it will be lit both sides. <u></u><u></u></span></p>

<p><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:black">The dam will protrude into the river by 2.5 metres (although some of this will be underwater).<u></u><u></u></span></p>

<p><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:black">The works are planned to take place place on 31st January and the dam removed on the 1st February.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
