<div name="messageBodySection">Hi all,<br />
<br />
Just a reminder that the Captains' meeting is at 5pm today in King's.<br />
<br />
It was brought to my attention that the minutes of the last meeting weren't visible on the website (thanks Will!), so they're now visible on the minutes page (http://www.cucbc.org/minutes), along with the agenda, which contained all of the rule changes we put through.<br />
<br />
See you later,<br />

<div class="">Please find attached the CUCBC accounts, which will be discussed in the meeting. Individual college bills will be circulated at the meeting. </div>
<div class=""><br class="" /></div>
<div class="">In addition to the publicised agenda, the CUCBC Senior Committee have proposed a change to rule 34 of the Rules of Racing (Lent and May Bumps). It currently reads:</div>
<div class=""><br class="" /></div>
<div class=""><i class="">34. That the finishing posts for the lower divisions of the Lent Races be as follows:</i></div>
<div class=""><i class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"></span>a. Top Finish : The Railings</i></div>
<div class=""><i class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"></span>b. Bottom Finish : The first concrete post upstream of Ditton Corner.</i>
<div class=""><br class="" /></div>
<div class="">And the proposed change is:</div>
<div class=""><br class="" /></div>
<div class="">
<div class=""><i class="">34. That the finishing posts for the lower divisions of the Lent Races be as follows:</i></div>
<div class=""><i class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"></span>a. Top Finish : The upstream side of the Railway Bridge</i></div>
<div class=""><i class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"></span>b. Bottom Finish : The Railings</i></div>
</div>
<div class=""><br class="" /></div>
<div class="">This will make the race slightly longer, reducing the discrepancy between the bottom and other divisions, and mean that the top and bottom finishes are further apart, bringing them closer in line with the distance between stations one and ten at the start.</div>
<div class=""><br class="" /></div>
<div class="">Best wishes,</div>
