<BR>> Hi there,<BR>> <BR>> We're running a kayak race from the upper
river to Baits Bite this Sunday,<BR>> starting at mid-day. Sorry about the
late notice: I told the conservators<BR>> some while back, but they haven't
put it on their list of events. Anyway,<BR>> there shouldn't be a problem as
I don't see any rowing events that day.<BR>> There will be up to 50 boats
going Jesus Lock to the Green Dragon, and<BR>> maybe half of those will go on
to Baits Bite, but they should be quite<BR>> spread out by the time they
reach the lower river - not more than 4 boats<BR>> in a bunch. So long as the
training rowers stay single file it will be<BR>> fine. In general for these
marathon races we don't mind a few obstacles,<BR>> as it's all part of the
