Dear Captains,<br><br>I would firstly like to thank Clare for sending a marshal even though none was requested of them.<br><br>I've attached Friday's marshal rota.<br><br>I would like to remind all captains that any margin is sufficient to determine a winner of the W4+ side-by-side races.  A dead heat will be declared only in the instance where the finish marshal calls the finish too close to judge.<br>

<br>Men's races will be called a dead heat if the difference in time recorded between the 2 finish marshals dropping their arms is less than 1 second.  A dead heat in the final does not give a re-row.  Both crews will share the win in the event of a dead heat.<br>

<br>Also, it is possible that races may start ahead of time if we are running ahead of schedule (though you will of course never have to arrive before your marshal time).<br><br>Regards,<br clear="all">Derek O'Brien<br>
