Dear Captains,

Apologies for the confusion on this matter, caused by us not realising the Winter League was coming up again. In response to a query, we have decided the following. The restrictions this coming weekend will be the same as for other Winter League weekends earlier in term: the river will be open all day Saturday AND Sunday after 3pm (but no rowing through the Winter League before that time).

If you arrange outings for early Saturday morning then PLEASE be very quiet before 7.30 (people living near the river like to get some sleep!) and preferably avoid 8-9am when lots of town crews will be on the water.

Regards,

Thomas

2009/3/1 Thomas Walton <cuwbc@cucbc.org>

Dear Captains,

Sorry for the extra email, but please note that next Sunday (8 March)
is the final leg of the CRA Winter League. As such, the river will be
closed below Chesterton until 3pm. Rowing through the Winter League
is unlikely to be possible due to the number of crews that enter.

Good luck to all crews heading to the Tideway over the next few weeks,
