Dear all,<br><br>The restrictions in rule 8 of the Rules of the River will come into effect as of (and including) <b>Tuesday morning</b> (18th November).  This means that each college club may have <b>no more than two boats</b> on the water at any time <b>between lighting down and 8.30am</b> from Tuesday until further notice or the end of Full Term.  Singles, pairs or tubs do not count towards the two allowed boats.<br>

<br>Unfortunately boat numbers have risen substantially over the last few days and we are now at the level where the committee feels that restrictions are necessary to avoid severe congestion of the river.  Please note that breaches of this rule with be heavily punished as laid out in the online Handbook.<br>
