<div>Elections for the CULRC committee 2008-09 are approaching, and people are invited to stand for the postion of honorary secretary. Primary duties include taking responsibility for squad kit and race entries, as well as some of the smaller tasks that come up from time to time in any club. Any member of a college boat club in statu pupillari is eligible to stand for the post.</div>

<div>In addition, the hon sec will sit on the wonderful and much-loved organisation that is CUCBC. Responsibilities here involve day-to-day duties such as monitoring flag status, as well as earning serious CV points organising the events we run over the year (Uni IVs, Small Boats and Bumps). It may sound a little daunting, but when shared with the rest of the committee it's not as time-consuming as it sounds.</div>
