Captains - please would you forward this to your clubs?

Dear all,

Although we are less than a fortnight away from the Henley Boat Races - where
we hope as many of you as possible will come to watch the CULRC and CUWBC defeat
Oxford - it is already time to start thinking about next year's campaign.
The CULRC will be running a Summer Development Squad starting on Monday 23 June
and ending on Sunday 20 July. During this time we will begin training to beat
Oxford in 2009 and will enter races
at Kingston and Molesey
Regattas. There will be a meeting for all those interested on Monday 19 May,
provisionally in Goldie in the evening...time to be decided depending on men's
hour rowing. This will be an opportunity for you to meet the coaching
team and vice versa, as well as allowing us to give you various bits of
information face to face. Depending on numbers, there may be a selection
erg later that week.

If you are interested, start researching accommodation options at your College
now. Most Colleges are happy to keep on students as long as they are
given enough notice. If not, we may be able to assist you in making
arrangements that will allow you to remain in Cambridge
for that time. We will be training early mornings and in the evenings so
you will also be able to hold down a part-time job if you wish.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with Dave White (dew27) if you have any
questions. We look forward to seeing you on Monday 19 May, if not at the Henley
Boat Races themselves.

Regards,
