Radegund Mile races (Sunday 9th May) are now open for entries

Hi everyone

The long-delayed and eagerly-awaited St Radegund race-entry form is finally
ready! Apologies for the delay, and thanks for all your suggestions.

Firstly, thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions! OK, so we've
listened to what you all said, and it looks like you'd like two different
races for Sunday, 9th May: a novice-centric shorter-format race for some
crews, and a long-format head-race of 2k+ for others.

So we're planning to offer both!

We're offering the Radegund "Give-em-an-inch" a short-format head-race of
1.1km for less-experienced crews, running from the top of the Long Reach to
Peter's Posts. For the purposes of this race, novice crews must not have
anyone rowing in them who started rowing before Michaelmas 2020 (ie
September 2020)

In a separate division, we're offering more experienced crews the St
Radegund "MilesAndMiles", a long-format race of 2.2km from the A14 bridge
to the Railway bridge. Novices can enter this race if they wish, but
they'll be racing in the senior category.

We'll offer at least one division of each format.

Entries are now open, and the signup google-form is here:

https://forms.gle/YP9ES6tJMRhxB1tk6

Please sign up before Saturday 8th if at all possible, as we really need to
get an idea of demand to work out timings.

Thanks again for your input, and see you on the 9th May! And please pass
this on to everyone you know who might be interested!

Cheers

Jeremy
